Calling all Beauty Junkies!!!!
Hello there,
As some of you that following me on social media already know I signed up for a beauty box deliveries. There are so many on the market it is a little overwhelming. I asked around and chose to try Birchbox and Glossybox. It is very exciting when there was a little knock on the front door, I jumped up to answer it knocking my husband out of the way.
Receiving a beauty box feels a little like staying at a nice hotel that has the most amazing complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and there is a massive bath deep enough for you knee and boobies (TMI? I am 5'10 so a deep bath is my idea of pure luxury).
Anyway, what did I get in the Glossybox? An absolute load of stuff! Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara - I would say a deluxe sample size, Revlon Gel Top Coat - full size, The Organic Pharmacy Lip Balm - full size, Rodial khol eyeliner - full size as well as two face masks! It costs around £10 month plus postage. You can get better deals if you buy 3 or 6 months in advance. I have yet to try the masks or the mascara but the Organic Pharmacy Lip Balm has made a permanent home in my coat pocket this winter.
I also received my beauty box from Birchbox and it was a little crazy. I think I ordered 1 box getting 1 free and a bonus box, not sure how I did that though I should probably check my bank statement!
Well these 2 come on the same day! Model Co 'Highlight Trio', Bliss 'Drench 'n' Quench' which I tried last night and it smelt gorgeous, Amika 'Bombshell Blowout Spray' that I used today and it is quite lovely, Puriskin 'Nurse Aid Cream' that I have been using as a cuticle cream for the past few nights, NUXE Prodigieux huile de douche which is the Precious Scented Shower Gel that has gold shimmer in it and who doesn't want gold shimmer in their morning shower? The second to arrive was the cosmetic pouch and in that was Anatomicals 'Smoother Butts love Coconuts' a coconut and Mango Body Lotion, Parlor 'Volumizing Lifting Spray', Absolutions Le Netteoaynt Purete which I have figured out is a cleanser, Philip Kingsley 'Prep, Polishing Balm' and a deluxe sample of the Cynthia Rowley Glow Getter Highlighter with a handy map of where to use it!
I do like a beauty box but I am not sure if I would like them every month just because I already have a lot of beauty bits and pieces and they could get a little overwhelming. I must admit they would make excellent gifts for my friends and family for birthdays and Christmas, they would take the pressure off what to buy them.
